Air Namibia offers 2 easy options for check-in:

Airport Counter Check-in: Check-in for your flight in the most conventional manner by stopping by the Air Namibia counter at the airport.

Next Day or Advance Check-in: This option allows you to save time and check-in for your flight up to 24 hours in advance of your departure time via the internet. To check-in online, visit Air Namibia’s online check-in page. After checking-in, you can print out your boarding pass and proceed directly to the security gates if you aren’t checking any baggage. If you have to check baggage be sure to stop by the Air Namibia counter.

Checked Luggage Restrictions for Air Namibia

For those traveling Economy Class you will be allowed 1 item of checked baggage, not exceeding 20 kg and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 158 cm. Infants not occupying a seat are entitled to a free baggage allowance of 10 kg.

Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Air Namibia

You are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 10 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 115 cm.

Air Namibia Seating Options

Air Namibia offers 2 options for seating on their flights:

Economy Class

Economy class seating on Air Namibia has a distance of 31 inches between seats. The A340 aircraft have individual screens, whereas the other aircraft do not.

Business Class

Business class seating on Air Namibia has a distance of 60 inches between seats. The seats on the A340 aircraft have individual screens for entertainment purposes.

Air Namibia In-flight Service, Beverages, and Meals

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, Air Namibia offers a wide variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Economy class offers audio entertainment with padded headphones. On some flights, video entertainment is also available, on individual screens on the A340. For all films, an English and German soundtrack is available. Meals, snacks and drinks are provided according to the length of flight and time of day.

Business class offers passengers individual portable video machines as well as audio channels. Films are available in both German and English. Meals, snacks and drinks of international quality are provided, depending on the time of day and the duration of the flight.

Air Namibia Fleet

Air Namibia operates a fleet consisting of Airbus, Boeing and Beechcraft airplanes. Their fleet consists of Airbus A340, Boeing 737 and Beechcraft B1900 Aircraft.

Air Namibia Lounge

Air Namibia lounges are fully operational in all airports in which they operate, including Windhoek, Accra and Cape Town.

Lounge access is available to Business Class passengers.
