Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Air Transat For those flying Economy Class, you are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 5-10 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 114 cm. This allowance varies depending on your destination. Air Transat Seating OptionsAir Transat offers 2 options for seating on their flights: Economy Class Economy class seating on Air Transat has a distance of 29-33 inches between seats, depending on the aircraft. The seats are leather and on longer flights, have in-built audio consoles with headphones available for purchase. Business Class (called “Club Class” on Air Transat) Business class seating on Air Transat has a distance of 35 inches between seats. The seats are wider than those in Economy and the seat selection service is complimentary. The entertainment facilities are the same as in economy class. Traveling with Pets on Air TransatDon't forget Peppa! Flying with your pets can be a safe and fun experience if airline rules and regulations are followed. Live pets can only be transported to countries where the regulations of the country permit, and subject to the terms and conditions specified by that country. Air Transat In-flight Service, Beverages, and MealsDependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, Air Transat offers a variety of food, beverage and entertainment options. Business class offers entertainment on longer flights, consisting of individual audio channels and movies and TV programs on overhead screens. Complimentary headphones are available. Welcome cocktails are provided as well as complimentary non alcoholic beverages, snacks and a bar service. A choice of gourmet meals and select wines are available. Air Transat FleetAir Transat operates a fleet consisting of Airbus airplanes. Their fleet consists of Airbus A310 and A330 aircraft. Air Transat LoungesAir Transat does not operate any company lounges. Air Transat Seat SelectionAir Transat offers advanced seat selection available online or over the telephone to make life easier. Air Transat Kids ClubAir Transat Kids Club is designed for Canadian residents between the ages of 2-11. Register your child(ren) in the the Club and on your next trip with Air Transat the flight attendant will give your child a surprise loot bag. Inside will be colourful headphones, games and a log book. Children will fill in the details for their flight, draw pictures and paste photos. To officially become a member the child will need the “access code” in their log book. Use that access code to register online and Air Transat will send your child a Kids Club Member welcome kit in the mail. With the official Kids Club Welcome Kit, your child will receive some interesting stuff such as baggage tags, a post card and coupons that they can use for on board treats. They even receive their very own member card which they will need to wear around their neck the next time they travel with Air Transat. This card entitles your child to all kinds of privileges.
