Founded in 2002, CanJet is a low-cost Canadian carrier that flies to over 35 destinations in the Americas and the Caribbean. Until 2006, CanJet offered scheduled and chartered flights but since then has operated as a low cost chartered airline. Its hubs are Toronto Pearson International Airport, Montréal-Trudeau International Airport and Halifax Robert L. Stanfield International Airport. CanJet planes have white fuselages and blue tails. The CanJet name is on the side of the aircraft as well as the tail.

Passengers will be allowed up to 2 items of checked baggage, not exceeding a combined weight of 20-25 kg per piece and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 158 cm per piece. Baggage allowance varies based on your destination. Infants without a booked seat do not have a baggage allowance but are allowed two extra items, for example a car seat or collapsible stroller.

Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Canjet

You are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 10 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 115 cm.

Canjet Special Luggage Requirements

Economy Class

Economy class seating on Canjet has a distance of 32 inches between seats. Entertainment is provided and headsets are available to purchase. Comfort packs consisting of a pillow and blanket can also be purchased.

Traveling with Pets on Canjet

CanJet does not accept pets for travel in checked baggage or carry-on.

Canjet In-flight Service, Beverages, and Meals

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, Canjet offers a variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

In-flight entertainment is offered on most Canjet flights and headphones are available to purchase. Complimentary tea and coffee are offered and on some flights meals are also included. Snacks and drinks are available to purchase.
