Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for EgyptAir

In Economy Class you are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 8 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 118 cm.

For those flying Business or First class, 2 pieces of carry-on luggage are allowed, with a maximum weight of 8 kg per bag, and total dimensions (L + W + H) of 118 cm per bag.

EgyptAir Special Luggage Requirements

EgyptAir Seating Options

EgyptAir offers 3 options for seating on their flights:

Economy Class (called “Y” on EgyptAir)

Economy class seating on EgyptAir has a distance of 32 inches between seats. Seats have adjustable headrests.

Business Class (called “C” on EgyptAir)

Business class seating on EgyptAir has a distance of 38-48 inches between seats. On the Boeing 777 aircraft the seats have individual screens and recline 7.5 inches.

First Class (called “F” on EgyptAir)

First class seating on EgyptAir has a distance of 62 inches between seats. The seats have individual screens and recline 14.5 inches on the Boeing 777.

Flying with your pets can be a safe and fun experience if airline rules and regulations are followed. Live pets can only be transported to countries where the regulations of the country permit, and subject to the terms and conditions specified by that country. EgyptAir In-flight Service, Beverages, and Meals

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, EgyptAir offers a wide variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Economy class, (also known as “Y”) does not offer in-flight entertainment. However, meals and drinks are served, according to the length and destination of your flight.

Business class, (also known as “C”), and First class (also known as “F”) offer movies on individual monitors. These are not on-demand so you need to switch your screen on early to catch the whole movie. Meals are served from trolleys on china crockery and a selection of snacks and beverages are available throughout the flight.

EgyptAir Fleet

EgyptAir operates a fleet consisting of Boeing and Airbus airplanes. Their fleet consists of Boeing 737 and 777, and Airbus 320, 321, 330 and 340 aircraft.

EgyptAir Lounge

EgyptAir does not operate its own company lounges.
