EVA Air offers 3 easy options for check-in:

Airport Counter Check-in: Check-in for your flight in the most conventional manner by stopping by the EVA Air counter at the airport.

Next Day or Advance Check-in: This option allows you to save time and check-in for your flight up to 24 EVA Air’s online check-in page. After checking-in, you can print out your boarding pass and proceed directly to the security gates if you EVA Air counter.

Electronic Kiosk Check-in: For those who want to bypass the lines at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport counter on busy travel days, EVA Air offers check-in services for passengers via electronic kiosks. These kiosks contain EVA Air signage on them and are located in Terminal 2.

EVA Air Baggage Information & Restrictions

Checked Luggage Restrictions for EVA Air

For those traveling Economy Class, you will be allowed 1-2 items of checked baggage, not exceeding 20-23 kg per piece and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 158 cm per piece. If you are traveling with an infant without a booked seat, you are also entitled to an extra piece of checked baggage, not exceeding 10-23 kg, and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 115 cm. Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for EVA Air

Regardless of class, you are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 7 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 115 cm.

EVA Air Seating Options

EVA Air offers 3 options for seating on their flights:

Economy Class

Economy class seating on EVA Air has a distance of 31-33 inches between seats. Seat features vary depending on the aircraft. The seats on the B777 have the most extra features, with fully adjustable headrests, seat-back screens offering on-demand entertainment, and personal satellite phones. The A330 aircraft also offer individual screens and satellite phones.

Premium Economy Class (called “Elite Class” or “Evergreen Deluxe” on EVA Air)

Premium economy class seating on EVA Air has a distance of 38 inches between seats. The seats are of business class quality and have adjustable headrests and “memory foam” cushions. Seat-back screens are available for all premium economy seats. These classes are available on B777 and B747 aircraft.

Business Class (called “Premium Laurel Class” on the B777 and A330 aircraft, and “Super Business Class” on the B747)

Business class seating on EVA Air has a distance of 44-61 inches between seats. The seats are even more comfortable than those in other classes, and all have individual entertainment systems. Seats in Premium Laurel Class can be electronically adjusted to your favored position. Personal lights and power points are also provided.

Traveling with Pets on EVA Air

Flying with your pets can be a safe and fun experience if airline rules and regulations are followed. Live pets can only be transported to countries where the regulations of the country permit, and subject to the terms and conditions specified by that country. EVA Air In-flight Service, Beverages, and Meals

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, EVA Air offers a wide variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Economy Class offers a range of entertainment options, depending on your flight. The Boeing B777-300ER and Airbus A330-200 offer the “Star Gallery” entertainment which consists of movies, TV shows, games, puzzles and over 100 CDs. Headsets are provided. On other aircraft movies may be shown on overhead screens, and audio channels may also be available. Food and drink in economy class are provided and special meals (for example, vegetarian, kosher, children’s meals) can be ordered in advance. The meals, snacks and drinks available depend on your flight but typically include choices of both oriental and western food.

Premium economy class (also known as “Elite Class” or “Evergreen Deluxe”) also offers the “Star Gallery” entertainment system with complimentary headphones. An SMS/email service and power sockets are also available. The meals and drinks in premium economy are served on exclusive tableware and fine glasses, and consist of a mixture of oriental and western food.

Business class (also known as “Premium Laurel Class” or “Super Business Class”) offers the same entertainment options as other classes, but noise canceling headsets are provided to make the viewing or listening more pleasurable. EVA Air Fleet

EVA Air operates a fleet consisting mainly of Boeing and Airbus airplanes. Their fleet consists of Airbus A330, Boeing B747 and B777, and McDonnell Douglas MD-90 planes.

EVA Air Lounge: Evergreen Lounge

The Evergreen Lounge is the official airport lounge of EVA Air. The Evergreen Lounge is fully operational in Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. There is also a Diamond Member check-in lounge at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport.

Evergreen Lounge access is available to business class passengers as well as Evergreen Club Silver and Gold Members. Access to the Diamond Members’ lounge is available to Evergreen Club Diamond members only.
