Electronic Kiosk Check-in: For those who want to bypass the lines at the counter on busy travel days, Gulf Air offers check-in services for passengers via electronic kiosks. Typically, these kiosks contain Gulf Air signage on them and are located near the Gulf Air counter.

Passengers traveling with children under 2 years old are entitled to one further piece of baggage not exceeding 10 kg, and a collapsible stroller.

Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Gulf Air

In Economy Class, you are allowed to carry 1 piece of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 6 kg, with a total dimension (L + W + H) of 115 cm.

For those flying Business or First Class, 2 pieces of carry-on luggage are allowed (including a briefcase), with a maximum total weight of 9 kg, and total dimensions (L + W + H) of 125 cm per bag and 115 per briefcase.

If you are traveling with an infant, you are entitled to an additional 3 kg of weight in your carry-on baggage, regardless of class.

Gulf Air offers 3 options for seating on their flights:

Economy Class

Economy class seating on Gulf Air has a distance of 29-32 inches between seats. Seats have personal TVs with a selection of movies and television programs, and a selection of audio channels. Personal headsets are provided.

Business Class

Business class seating on Gulf Air varies considerably between flights, but has a distance of 38-73 inches between seats. On some flights sleeper seats are available, with fully reclining seats complete with privacy screens. All seats have personal TVs and a selection of audio channels, with personal headsets provided.

First Class

First class seating on Gulf Air has a distance of 74-83 inches between seats, depending on the flight. Some flights have fully reclining sleeper seats. All seats have personal TVs and a selection of audio channels, with personal headsets provided.

Traveling with Pets on Gulf Air

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, Gulf Air offers a wide variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Economy Class offers more than 100 hours of audio and video options, with personal screens and complimentary headsets. Economy class passengers are served a 3 course meal, with a choice of 3 main courses. Meals for special diets are available but must be pre-booked. Light refreshments are also served shortly before landing.

Business Class offers more than 100 hours of audio and video options, with personal screens and complimentary headsets. In addition to this, power points for laptops are provided on most business class seats. Business class passengers are served a 4 course fine dining menu, with a selection of refreshments also available. A selection of fine wines is also available from the Sky Cellar.

First Class offers more than 100 hours of audio and video options, with personal screens and complimentary headsets.
