Jet Airways has introduced its new aircrafts to its fleet: the Boeing 777-300ER and the Airbus A330-200 aircraft. With the arrival of these new aircrafts, Jet Airways has established a new cabin which hosts upgraded seats in all classes of service.
The Boeing 777-300ER offers 3 classes of service: Economy, Premiėre (Business class) and First and the A330-200 offers 2 classes of service: Economy and Premiėre (available on all Boeing 777-300ER and A330-200 aircrafts). The airlines Economy, Business and First Class we’re given a 3 star rating, and according to Skytrax, is amongst the top 25 business classes for any airline. Jet Airways was the worlds 2nd airline to offer private suites and the 1st Indian airline to offer fully-enclosed suites on its aircrafts. Each of these private suites has a door that can be closed.
First Class
On all Boeing 777-300ER aircrafts First class seating is available. All First class seats transfer conveniently over into a fully-flat bed. Seating in First class offers a 29-inch widescreen LCD monitor fully equipped with audio-video on-demand systems, USB ports and more. Skytrax reviewers in early 2009 rated the airlines First Class as being the 44th best in the world.
Premiėre
The Jet Airways Premiėre class, otherwise known as their Business class, is available on all A330-200 and Boeing 777-300ER International flights. This class of service also offers a fully-flat reclining bed with audio-video-on-demand entertainment, USB ports and more. A herringbone seat pattern is followed (1-2-1 on the Boeing 777-300ER and 1-1-1 on the A330-200), each seat offers direct access to the aisle. On domestic flights Boeing 737’s new aircrafts offer audio-video-on-demand, seats are standard recliner business-class. Some of these newer aircrafts also offer an electronic recliner and a massager.
Economy
On all Jet Airways flights, Economy class seats offer a standard 32-inch pitch. Each cabin on the Boeing 777-300ER aircraft is configured in a 3-3-3 seating arrangement, on the A330200 a 2-4-2 configuration and on the Boeing 737, a 3-3 configuration.
Both Indian and Western cuisines are available on most Jet Airways flights.
