Best Airline in Eastern Europe Conducted by American Global Traveller magazine, in a survey of the world's best airlines, airports, hotels and cities, premium frequent flyers voted Malev as the 2006 "Best Airline in Eastern Europe". "Airline of the Year" - 2004, 2005, 2006 Malev was awarded the "Airline of the Year" prize for 2006. This is from information gathered from a poll in Hungary of tourism professionals, frequent flyer business travellers, company managers as well as passengers. The airline follows on from similar awards in 2004 and 2005. The most punctual airline According to a report in 2006 published by the Association of European Airlines (AEA) Malev was considered to be the most punctual airline in Europe. The survey also examined baggage handling statistics in which 25 European carriers took part. These statistics placed Malev in third place in terms of baggage delivery performance. |
