Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Porter Airlines

You are allowed to carry two piece(s) of baggage with you on the flight at no extra charge. The maximum weight for carry-on baggage must not exceed 9 kg per piece. The Standard Article can measure up to 55 cm x 23 cm x 40 cm, and the Personal Article must not exceed 43cm x 16 cm x 33 cm.

Porter Airlines Special Luggage Requirements

Porter Airlines accommodates several kinds of special service requests on its flights including the transportation of items such as sports equipment and assistive devices. Bicycles, golf clubs, scuba gear, hockey, skis, and snowboards can be checked on Porter flights at no charge provided the item is within the passenger’s weight and piece allocation in their baggage allowance. Medical assistive devices such as ventilators will be accepted, provided that they are classified as “FAA approved for air travel.” Special arrangements must be made for such devices by calling Porter Airlines at least 48 hours in advance of your flight. Porter offers a single class of service throughout its aircraft, with 70 leather seats configured in pairs on either side of the aisle, and an above-average amount of legroom in all seats with a seat pitch of 34 inches.

Traveling with Pets on Porter Airlines

Porter Airlines permits the carriage of small pets in airline-approved carriers in the cabin for a fee of $50 per direction, with a maximum allowable weight (including carrier) of 10kg. Service animals are permitted, free of charge. Arrangements for travelling with pets must be made with the airline at least 12 hours prior to your flight’s departure.
