Qatar Airways offers 2 easy options for check-in:

Airport Counter Check-in: Check-in for your flight in the most conventional manner by stopping by the Qatar Airways counter at the airport. At Doha airport, passengers traveling First or Business class can take advantage of the sit down check-in in the Premium Terminal.

Next Day or Advance Check-in: This option allows you to save time and check-in for your flight up to 36 hours in advance of your departure time via the internet. To check-in online, visit Qatar Airway’s online check-in page. After checking-in, you can print out your boarding pass and proceed directly to the security gates if you aren’t checking any baggage. If you have to check baggage be sure to stop by the Qatar Airways counter. Checked Luggage Restrictions for Qatar Airways

For those traveling Economy Class you will be allowed 2 items of checked baggage, not exceeding 20-23 kg per piece and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 158 cm. Economy Class baggage allowance varies based on your destination. For those traveling First or Business Class you will be allowed 2 items of checked baggage, not exceeding 32 kg per piece and with dimensions (L + W + H) not totaling more than 158 cm. Carry-On Baggage Restrictions for Qatar Airways

For those flying Economy class, 1 piece of carry on baggage is allowed with a maximum weight of 7 kg per bag and total dimension (L + W + H) of 112 cm per bag.

For those flying Business or First class, 2 pieces of carry on baggage are allowed, with a maximum total weight of 15 kg and total dimensions (L + W + H) of 112 cm per bag.

Travelers may also take items for personal use into the cabin including laptops, cameras, purses, mp3 players, food, pillows, etc.

Qatar Airways Seating Options

Qatar Airways offers 3 options for seating on their flights:

Economy Class

Economy class seating on Qatar Airways has a distance of 32 inches between seats. Each seat has a personal seat-back screen with a choice of audio and video entertainment.

Business Class

Business class seating on Qatar Airways has a distance of 38-50 inches between the 180 degree flat bed seats, which have 8 massage settings. Each seat has a personal screen with a choice of audio and video entertainment, and on selected flights there is an in-seat power supply.

First Class

First class seating on Qatar Airways has a distance of 60-80 inches between seats, which convert into completely flat beds. Each personal space can be used for dining, working or relaxing, and on some flights there is a dedicated onboard First class lounge. Each personal space in First class has a choice of audio and video entertainment, and in-seat power supply.

Dependant on the flight, and type of aircraft, Qatar Airways offers a wide variety of food, beverage and entertainment options.

Economy Class offers a personal screen with the on-demand entertainment system, Oryx, which provides a wide variety of international movies and over 50 different CDs. All entertainment and food is free on Qatar airways and a broad variety of international selections from Europe, the Indian sub-continent, the Middle East and the Far-East with complimentary beverages (including an international selection of beers, wines & spirits) is available.

Qatar Airways Fleet

Qatar Airways lounges are fully operational in Doha, and there are lounges in the main terminal and the premium terminal.
