Skyservice FlightsFounded in 1986, Skyservice was a Canadian charter airline as well as air ambulance that offered services to many holiday destinations in Mexico and the Caribbean and to a few destinations in Europe, Israel and South America.Skyservice was based in the Toronto suburb of Etobicoke. It ended service abruptly on March 31st, 2010 when it was forced into receivership. This was due to a $9 million debt to Sunquest Vacations, a long time partner of Skyservice.
Alternate Airlines For Skyservice DestinationsSkyservice flew to a number of different locations. Since they ended their service, virtually all of their charter destinations have been replaced by flights with either Air Canada Jazz or with Sunwing. Their European, Israeli and South American passengers will most likely be picked up by Air Canada as well as the national carriers of the countries being flown to. |
