Vueling Airlines

Vueling is a low-cost airline based in Spain that is known for its low fares, fresh attitude, and penchant for occasionally surprising its passengers with live in-flight entertainment such as Cirque du Soleil acrobats, fashion shows, or a string quartet.

The first Vueling airline ticket was sold in May 2004 and in 2009 the carrier merged with Clickair, with the consolidated airline operating all its flights under the Vueling brand. Barcelona is Vueling’s hub, and it also has bases in 10 other European cities with Amsterdam Schiphol as focus city. The airline flies to over 70 destinations throughout Europe and the Mediterranean and is a publicly traded company.
