If I have paid a deposit and I cancel my car, do I lose the deposit?
In the event of a cancellation notice of which is received by FlightNetwork® within seven (7) days of the car rental booking date and at least forty eight (48) hours before the rental of the vehicle is due to commence, all funds will be reimbursed.
In the event of a cancellation notice of which is received by FlightNetwork® outside seven (7) days of the car rental booking date and at least forty eight (48) hours before the rental of the vehicle is due to commence, all funds except a cancellation handling/administration fee of �25.00 and the non-refundable Administration Charge (Card processing fee) where applicable, will be reimbursed.
In the event of a cancellation notice of which is received by FlightNetwork® less than forty eight (48) hours before the rental of the vehicle is due to commence, no funds paid will be reimbursed to you, unless the entire rental amount has also been pre paid CarTrawler will retain 3 days rental and Administration Charge (Card processing fee) where applicable. In the event of a cancellation of a booking when the entire rental amount is payable on arrival, there is no fee for a cancellation.

What types of payment methods can be used for a deposit?
FlightNetwork® accepts both debit and credit cards, but not cash to reserve a vehicle. However none of our rental partners/suppliers accept cash or debit card for deposits or excess, you must provide a credit card in the name of the lead driver. If the vehicle is a fully prepaid booking, a credit card will still need to be provided to cover the insurances.

Can I use a different credit card when I arrive to the rental location?
Yes you can, as long as the credit card is in the name of the driver of the vehicle.

What is "Insurance Excess"?
When you collect your vehicle, you are asked to leave a deposit to the value of any insurance excess, which may be charged by our car rental partner, in case the car is damaged during the rental. If you chose to purchase DEW (Damage Excess Waiver), and have been charged for any damage, please note the following:
In order to make a claim under the Damage Excess Waiver product (DEW) it would help us if you were able to forward copies of your rental agreement, any credit card statements relating to charges as well as any accident or damage reports, should these be relevant. Please note that FlightNetwork® uses a specific booking reference as our prime form of identification. This is a 9 digit number normally beginning with two letters. It would be helpful, and save time, if you could ensure that this reference number, the surname of the lead driver and your postal code are clearly visible on all documents sent to us.

What is the pickup location for my booking?
We cannot provide this information prior to making a booking as we do not know who will be supplying the car until you have made your reservation. Once you make a reservation, we can provide you with the information for a car rental agent and their exact contact details.

What if the car gets stolen?
The theft insurance provided by the car rental company covers theft of the rental vehicle only. It does not cover your personal effects, which would normally be covered by either your travel insurance or your household insurance. There is generally an "Excess" on the theft portion of the rental. It is this excess which is covered by our Annual Excess policies.

Can I book a specific car?
We can only guarantee the category and transmission of the vehicle booked. However, we can request specific vehicles with the supplier if they have it in stock. Please note that this may take longer to confirm and cannot be guaranteed.

What kind of credit/debit card can I use to make my booking?
When your quote is generated, click on rental conditions to select your vehicle choice. You will then see a list of all cards that are accepted.

What Insurance is provided?
Please consult the "Terms and Conditions" link displayed next to any car on the search result page or at the bottom of the confirmation page. They are also provided on your Vehicle Rental Voucher confirmation.

How do I reduce "Excess on Insurance"?
You can purchase additional insurances to reduce the Excess on the vehicle. This can be done at the rental office on arrival. If you choose not to purchase additional insurances a pre-authorization is required. This pre- authorization is taken from your credit card. Please consult your Terms & Conditions for further details.

What is the full pick up/drop off address for my rental?
Unfortunately, our booking engine will contain only the basic booking details. However, your full booking details (including the address and the phone number of the car rental agent) will appear on your Vehicle Rental Voucher, which will be sent to you once your reservation has been confirmed.

Do cars come with a CD player?
We cannot guarantee a CD player with any rental vehicle however most rental vehicles do come with them as a standard device.

What type of license do I need to rent a car?
Drivers must hold and produce at car rental collection a full national driving license from their country of residence valid for at least one year. In some cases an International driving license maybe required, and for some car types, drivers must have held a full license for a minimum of 2 years. Please check the Terms and Conditions at the time of booking for this information. If you have a British license you will need to present both the photo and paper sections.

Can I pick up and drop my car off in 2 different locations?
One way rentals are possible and are incorporated in the booking process. If the booking engine doesn't return a rate, it unfortunately means that a one way is not possible. International one way rentals are not permitted.

What is the size of the engine in my rental car?
Unfortunately, the size of the engine varies between suppliers and vehicles for which we have no specific information on. Please contact the supplier directly.

What are the legal requirements abroad?
Every country has its own version of Highway Rules and Regulations. Upon collection of your vehicle, you should take a moment to familiarize yourself with any local driving regulations or laws. Our local vehicle rental partner will be more than happy to explain any such regulations, and where necessary, provide written documentation to help with any further explanations.

What is "Super Insurance"?
You can purchase additional insurances or "Super Insurance" to reduce the Excess on the vehicle to zero. This can be done at the rental office upon arrival.

What does the fuel policy "pick up full - return full" mean?
This means that you will pick up the car with a full fuel tank and return the vehicle with a full fuel tank. Some suppliers will charge for this service but will refund the fee on return with a full tank.

The credit card/administration charge, if any, which FlightNetwork® charges you, is non-refundable in all circumstances

Do the car rental rates include all taxes? Also, could I be faced with any additional fees not mentioned during the booking process?
Our booking engine offers varied rates. If the rental states with taxes, then the reservation will include all taxes. Customers are advised to always check rate details for what is included in the rental at time of booking.
