Boise Information
The city of trees, Boise is the capital city in the state of Idaho. There is a large Basque population which are indigenous people from northern Spain and France. The Basque culture adds has a block in the downtown core of Boise. The downtown area is the major attraction for residents and visitors. It has many museums, theatres, historical sites, restaurants and hosts a yearly Jazz festival. Just outside of Boise you can enjoy fishing and swimming in the Boise River or downhill and cross country skiing at a mountain resort. You can also visit the desert sand dunes and canyons.
