Dayton, Ohio is the home of the Wright Brothers which makes them deserving of the motto, Birthplace of Aviation . Yearly, at the end of July, there is a tribute to the Wright Brothers with the Vectren Dayton Air Show with exhibits and aerobatic demonstrations. The National Museum of the United States Air Force is located at a base just outside of Dayton. Dayton has its own art institutes, performing art centre, historic parks, opera and orchestra. The University of Dayton Area is also in Dayton and located on the Great Miami River.
