Found north east of Karachi, Hyderabad this is the second
largest city in the province of Sindh.
Filled with culture and colourful history of Pakistan this city has many
attractions that are well worth seeing.
Age plays a major factor in the characteristics of the buildings and
monuments and many are breathtaking and a must see.
The city is also the second largest in the province of
Sindh and known for its educational and medical institutions. The people show how important religion is and
practices to the extreme. In the city
of Hyderabad there are a few museums that show the religions and other ethnic
artifacts. Some artifacts in the Salar
Jung Museum have been dated back to the 1st century and display over
30,000 exhibits and works from previous decades.
Two of the largest and famous buildings are the Charminar
and the Mecca Masjid. The Charminar was
built in 1591 and stands 183 feet tall and 98 feet wide. Located across from the Charminar is the
Mecca Masjid one of the largest mosques in the world and can hold 10,000
devotees.

popular landmark the Rani Bagh, before it was renovated this park was a zoo and
named after the Rani elephant. This
beautiful park offers you many opportunities to see the land and the culture of
the people in the town. There are many
other parks that have great views of the town and waters. Some parks offer grounds in which to
participate, or watch recreational sports and other local events.
