North Bay is home to The famous Dionne Quintuplets which were born in Corbeil, Ontario in 1934, a small town just outside of the city. This miraculous birth had a tremendous impact on tourism in the area. In fact, the Dionnes may have saved the economy in the area during the Depression and beyond. North Bay and area lived off this legacy well into the 1960s and today visitors can witness the Dionne Quintuplets Museum along with other fascinating displays.
Other North Bay attractions include The North Bay Waterfront, The Heritage Railway Company's Mini-Train and Canadian Forces Museum of Aerospace Defense, The Eau Claire Gorge as well as The Chief Commanda II, offering scenic cruises.
