Job Description
FlightNetwork® requires a Lead Systems Administrator to lead infrastructure management reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer and CEO.
Certifications are not required, though Cisco certification (CCNA/ CCNP) may be considered a plus with relevant experience on the Linux platform. The RHCE or equivalent Linux certifications will need to be accompanied by relevant experience. Candidates with experience on other Unix variants such as SunOS/ Solaris and FreeBSD will need to demonstrate knowledge of Linux specific network technologies including firewalls and policy routing.
Required Skills:
- 5+ year minimum experience as a Linux Systems Administrator/Network Engineer in a reputable organization.
- University or College Degree in Computer Science or related subject from a reputable Institution
- Expert knowledge of the Apache web server including SSL, mod_rewrite, etc.
- Expertise in iptables, Linux firewalls and routing including policy routing and QoS
- DNS with Bind
- Local monitoring tools such as sysstat, vmstat etc.
- Network monitoring with Nagios
- Shell scripting with bash
- Nginx web server (an asset)

Job Description
FlightNetwork®.com is looking for a Build, Test and Release Engineer to manage the software configuration, integration, test and release function. The position involves:
- Work with the developer teams to create standard operating procedures for software build, test, integration and release
- Work closely with developer teams to ensure that developer test processes including unit testing are followed and documented
- Manage and maintain source code control systems including git and Subversion
- Merge in development branches and create release branches, tags etc. in the VCS
- Set up, monitor and manage the continuous integration process
- Work closely with QA to ensure quality and robustness of products
- Manage server configurations for code and services, in conjunction with the Systems Administration team
- Create automated test tools to ensure product quality and reliability
- Create and deploy weekly releases following best practices
- Provide regular reporting and metrics on test and release processes
Our primary development platforms are Perl and Java with the PostgreSQL database on Debian GNU/Linux.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- At least one year of experience working in the build/integration/release role
- Be comfortable working with Linux at the command line level and be knowledgeable about Linux file system commands
- Have experience in Apache and niginx web server configuration
- At least two years of experience in software version control systems including git, Subversion and CVS including management, branching, merging, patch creation and troubleshooting
- Experience in working with test/QA teams
- Experience in scripting/coding for Selenium IDE and Selenium RC
- Experience in bash and Perl/Python scripting
