What is Price Drop Protection™?
Price Drop Protection™ is a revolutionary program exclusive to FlightNetwork® that allows you to lock in savings if the base price of your Flight, the total base price (before taxes) of your Hotel or the total price (base + taxes & fees) of your Vacation package price drops after you book.
At FlightNetwork® we believe that booking travel should be easy. It shouldn't leave you feeling anxious about whether or not you've booked at the right time to get the best deal. We want you to take your time booking, so don't rush your decision. Whether you book months in advance or leave it to the last minute, you can book confidently knowing that you're covered by Price Drop Protection™.
You should know that all Flights, Hotel and Vacation packages are Price Drop Protected.
Domestic Flights:
(Example) If you've purchased a Flight at $500 and the base price drops to $250, you can grab that deal and we'll give you $250 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings. Your protection per person is unlimited and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.
International Flights:
(Example) If you've purchased a Flight at $500 and the base price drops to $400, you can grab that deal and we'll give you $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings. Your protection is up to a maximum of $100 per person and you can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.
Vacation Packages:
(Example) If you've purchased a Vacation at $800 and the total price with taxes per adult drops to $600, you can grab that deal and we'll give you $200 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings. Your protection is unlimited. Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.
Hotel Bookings:
(Example) If you've purchased a Hotel and the total base price (before taxes) was $500 and the total base price drops to $400, you can grab that deal and we'll give the First Named Traveller on the booking $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings. Your protection is unlimited and you can grab a deal up until your check-in date.

Once you have an Account, log in and visit My Trips to see if the price of your original flight booking has dropped. If it has, grab the deal and we'll give you Price Drop Protection™ Dollars immediately to spend on future Flight, Vacation and Insurance bookings.You can grab a deal up until the time your flight departs.
Vacation Packages:
After you've made your Price Drop Protected Vacation Package booking, you'll receive an email. Use that email to check to see if the price of your original vacation package has dropped. If it has, grab the deal and send us the Price Drop claim form online. We'll verify and credit your Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to yourMy FlightNetwork® Account
immediately to spend on future Flight, Vacation and Insurance bookings.Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.
Hotel Bookings:

What's important to know?
The purpose of Price Drop Protection™ is to ensure that our valued customers always get the lowest prices from us. It is important to know a few things. You can check for price drops as many times as you like but you can only grab a price drop deal ONCE. In addition, Price Drop Dollars can only be applied towards base Flight, Vacation and Insurance prices and cannot be applied towards taxes, fees or surcharges.
- Price Drop Protection™ Dollars cannot be transferred, shared or pooled.
- Price Drop Protection™ Dollars can only be earned if an identical itinerary can be found and the exact number of seats is available.
- For flights this means the travel supplier, airline, flight numbers, flight times, departure and destination cities all must be identical to the original flight purchased.
- For vacations this means the departure dates, flight times, airline carrier, flight number, tour operator supplier, resort/hotel and room type, meal plan type and applicable restrictions and/or conditions must be identical to the original vacation package purchased.
- For hotels this means, the hotel, supplier, room category, number of days, check-in and check-out dates all must be identical to the original hotel booking purchased.
- Price Drop Protection™ Dollars for Flights and Vacation bookings are only awarded to travelers and are traveler specific. Account holders can only earn Price Drop Protection™ Dollars if they are a traveler on the booking. For Hotels, Price Drop ProtectionTM Dollars are awarded to the First Named Traveler on the Hotel Booking.
- Price Drop Protection™ Dollars expire 12 months from the date they were awarded to your My FlightNetwork® Account.
- Price Drops on Flights can be claimed up until the time of departure.
- Price Drops on Hotels can be claimed up until the check-in date.
- Price Drops on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.

Flights
When you book a Domestic flight your protection is unlimited. There is no cap. You're protected for the entire base fare of your purchase. (Taxes are not Price Drop Protected)
I.e. Base purchase price $500, Price Drops to $250, Grab that deal and get $250 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight or Insurance bookings.
When you book an International or Trans-border flight the base fare of your purchase is protected to up a maximum of $100. (Taxes are not Price Drop Protected)

Vacations
When you book any Vacation Package your protection is unlimited. There is no cap. You're protected for the entire total fare of your purchase (Base fare plus taxes & fees). Price Drop Protection™ on Vacation packages cannot be claimed within 31 days prior to departure.

Hotels
When you book a Hotel your protection is unlimited. There is no cap. You're protected for the total base fare (before taxes) of your purchase.
Ie. The total base price (before taxes) was $500 and the total base price drops to $400, and get $100 Price Drop Protection™ Dollars to spend on future Flight, Hotel, Vacation or Insurance bookings.
