Book Cozumel Vacation Packages

Take the plunge on your next holiday and dive into an all inclusive Cozumel vacation. Surrounded by clear blue waters, this breezy island is perfect for winter getaways, a romantic honeymoon, or a relaxing port-of-call during your next cruise.

Cozumel Vacation Guide

While pure white beaches and turquoise waters provide more than enough incentive to stay on the shore and enjoy the fantastic view, it is actually what's below the surface that draws most visitors to book Cozumel vacations. Divers consider this to be one of the best spots on the Caribbean coast to explore the area's coral reefs and multicoloured marine life, and for those who aren't quite so keen about strapping on the oxygen tanks, there are plenty of glass-bottomed boats and snorkeling tours which are much cheaper than scuba excursions.

If you need a break from all the beach and sea activity, downtown San Miguel is the ideal place to spend an afternoon looking for bargains and discounts on local wares, or enjoy a leisurely lunch of fresh seafood at one of the town's charming restaurants and cafes. A bit of time travel is also possible on vacations to Cozumel when you journey into Mexico's intriguing past at the island's Mayan ruins or stick with the present and dance your way into the wee hours of the morning at the colourful Carnival celebrations.

When to Go and Weather

Being an island, the weather in Cozumel can vary significantly depending on where you are. High winds sometimes buffet the island, especially in December and January, when it is often a chilly (by subtropical standards) 18┬░C and the seas are rougher. Inland areas generally tend to be warmer than the coasts, where conditions are different depending on whether you're on the windward or leeward side of the island.

It can get ridiculously hot and humid in the summertime which is also when hurricanes occasionally pass through the area, and so winter is the high season for vacations to Cozumel. From September to mid-November, Cozumel receives most of its rainfall and the occasional threat of hurricanes. Although all inclusive package deals are cheaper around this time, it is best to check the weather forecast before you book.
