December to April is high season in Jamaica, when cheap vacation deals are most difficult to find. The rainy season is is primarily May and June, but also September to November, overlapping with hurricane season between June and November. Rains are frequent and heavy in summer, leading to hot and humid conditions. Shoulder season is the best time to book Jamaica vacations because you won't be paying peak prices, but the weather will be much more enjoyable than in the off-season.
