When to Go and Weather

It never gets too cold in Naples and even if you visit in December, you will encounter temperatures in the low teens (Celsius). However, the city receives most of its rain between December and March, so despite cheap deals on package vacations to Naples, this may not be the best time to visit the city as you will likely spend most of your holiday indoors.

Weather-wise, early spring and fall are better times to visit when temperatures range between 20-25�C and there are fewer tourists in the city. Summer and the weeks around Christmas and Easter are typically busy and you will need to book as early as possible to get cheap rates on flights and hotels. Keep in mind that Italians really like their vacation time too and in August, some establishments shut down for a few days or even the entire month as everyone heads to the beach to beat the heat.
