Getting there

Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport is less than 10 minutes from Cusco’s city centre, with flights arriving from cities in Peru as well as Bogota, La Paz and Santiago. Most travellers arrive via Lima that sees arrivals directly from Montreal, Toronto, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Dallas and Miami, as well as a few European cities. Once in Lima, travellers have the option of flying to Cusco or travelling overland by bus, making a stop to see the Paracas National Reserve and the Nazca Lines.
