You can get flights to Kelowna International Airport (YLW), which is just over 10 km from the city centre, on airlines like Air Canada, WestJet, Central Mountain Air, and Horizon Air. Arriving in Kelowna

Public Transit: Kelowna Regional Transit buses stop at the airport near the car rental lot as well as on Highway 97 near the junction of the airport and the highway. One-way fares average $2 CAD for adults and you can get discounts for students and seniors while children under five years of age travel free.

Airport Shuttle: Taking a shuttle to your hotel or into the city may be cheaper than taking a cab, depending on your destination and the company you choose to travel with. Fares can range from $13-$45 CAD and if you're arriving on a late-night flight or travelling to areas outside Kelowna city limits, booking in advance is advisable.

Hotel Shuttle: Some hotels, ski resorts, and wineries, offer their guests a courtesy pick-up shuttle from the airport so check with your hotel in advance if this service is available and also confirm the pick-up location at the airport.

Taxi: A taxi stand is located outside the airport terminal and trips to the city centre cost between $35-$40 CAD. If you're arriving on a late-night flight to Kelowna and want to be assured of transport from the airport, you can also book a cab in advance with some companies like Kelownacabs.

Car Rental: On-site car rental companies include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National and you can find counters for these companies near the arrivals area of the main terminal. You can also request a courtesy pick-up service from off-site companies like Best Choice and Rent A Wreck, for which you will need to make an advance booking online or via telephone.

Other: Start off your Kelowna travels with a luxurious limousine ride into town. Companies that offer this service include Okanagan and Sun Valley Limousine and be sure to book your limo of choice at least 48 hours prior to boarding your Kelowna flights.
