Revenue Manager

LOCATION: TORONTO, Canada
Due to significant growth objectives, we are relocating our Canadian headquarters to a brand new, custom-built modern space within minutes walking distance to Union Station in downtown Toronto Do you have the ability to understand, anticipate and influence consumer behaviour? As Revenue Manager, you will be leading Flight Network’s pricing strategies and directly impact the bottom line of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create Pricing Strategies
  • • Use multiple data sources internally and externally to gather, analyze and document pricing recommendations
  • • Implement profit driving optimizations across several business units
  • • Develop and implement pricing rules to standardize across multiple product lines
Conduct Competitive Analyses
  • • Identify market and internal trends, interpret results of analysis to recommend alternatives and new concepts to support optimal bidding strategies to achieve business growth and ROI objectives
  • • Keep actively engaged in travel industry trends
  • • Develop strategies to convert customers through the e-commerce model
  • • Competitive research, analysis and recommendations on comparison sites to assist in creating a competitive advantage
Revenue Tracking
  • • Create reports and presentations to communicate strategies to key stakeholders
  • • Create a system of reporting to analyze strategies to accelerate decision making
  • • Track revenue through marketing channels, airlines and vendors to ensure return on investment
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • • 5+ years’ experience in pricing, revenue management or comparable
  • • Project Management skills an asset
  • • Strong problem solving, analytical and research skills, to translate insights into profits
  • • Advanced level of experience in data discovery and ability to work with large amounts of structured and unstructured data
  • • Ability to quickly recognize patterns, gather data, draw logical conclusions and successfully present findings/recommendations to colleagues and management team
  • • Provide weekly dynamic forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons
  • • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual
  • • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • • Degree / diploma in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • • Ability to quickly recognize patterns, gather data, draw logical conclusions and successfully present findings/recommendations to colleagues and management team
  • • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • • Familiarity with web analytics (Omniture / Google Analytics), SQL, Python, R or financial modelling is an asset
