Conceived by Alan Faena and designed by Philippe Starck, the air-conditioned historical hotel is designed as a home. The design hotel is housed in the El Porteno Building, a historic building that was originally built in 1902 to store grain which was then exported across the world. The spa complex offers 90 luxury rooms and welcomes guests in a lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, cloakroom and lift access. The design hotel has a number of common areas for guests to make use of and further facilities include a cafe, bar, pub and a restaurant. Guests may also take advantage of the conference facilities, WLAN Internet access, room and laundry services, a car park and garage, and a bicycle hire service.

Each room features a home theatre and flat screen satellite TV with Dolby Surround sound system, wireless Internet access, designer beds with Egyptian cotton linens.
