Clearwater Vacation Guide
If you're the kind of person who likes a relaxed time on the beach but wants to still have access to a good nightlife scene and loads of outdoor activities, Clearwater vacations are right for you.
While you can easily get cheap deals on tickets to Clearwater's Marine Aquarium or queue up for a ride along the coast in a cigarette boat, watching the sun go down in an explosion of colour is Clearwater's best attraction and can be enjoyed for absolutely free. Make your way to the Sunset at Pier 60 for a chance to soak up the community atmosphere with open-air markets, buskers, local artists, and plenty of special deals on snacks and beverages. From parasailing and snorkeling for outdoor enthusiasts, trolley tours for those eager to sightsee, and interactive pirate shows for young children, vacations to Clearwater will ensure visitors of all stripes have a great time during their stay. Alternatively, if all you want to do is just kick back and relax, the city's restaurants and bars keep up a steady supply of delicious food and drink right on the beachfront, ensuring you never have to leave the shore until it's time for your flight home.
If you've booked all inclusive vacations in spring or summer, be sure to pack your sunscreen because you're definitely going to need it in Clearwater. Summer is a good time to get the cheapest deals on vacation packages as the high levels of heat and humidity deter most tourists from visiting. Be advised that along with the intense sunshine, you will also have to deal with frequent downpours. Although these hardly ever last more than a few hours at a time, they can disrupt even the best-laid plans at the last minute. So if you're someone who likes to stick to an itinerary, this is not the best time to vacation in Clearwater.
Visiting in the latter half of the year will get you slightly lower temperatures, clear skies, and plenty of sunny days. However, winters are the peak season to book all inclusive Clearwater vacations and you will have to share the city with plenty of other visitors making a beeline for the beach. Booking at the very start (November) or end (April) of the peak season is the best way to enjoy the dry weather and still not pay sky-high prices for package deals.
