Book Huatulco Vacation Packages

A vacation in Huatulco will have you enjoying aromatic cups of coffee from local plantations, take exciting eco-adventure tours through the mountains, or treating yourself to natural spa treatments guaranteed to leave you relaxed and refreshed for another day of fun on Mexico's beaches.

Huatulco Vacation Guide

Between the steep slopes of the Sierra Madre mountains and the azure waters of the Pacific lie Huatulco's nine scenic bays and over 30 glittering-white beaches. With so much variety, vacations in Huatulco give you plenty of room for long walks along the shore, great spots for sunbathing and water sports, and all the nightlife you could possibly enjoy on your holiday. As much of the area is still under development, Huatulco vacations are not as popular with the North American tourist set as package deals at other Pacific resort areas like Cabo and Acapulco, which means you have more of the beach to yourself and won't need to search too hard to find a good deal on all inclusive vacations.

Huatulco is one of the rare resort areas in North America which is being developed under strict ecological guidelines, leaving much of the area as a protected nature reserve and incorporating eco-tourism as a highlight of vacations here. There's not a high-rise hotel in sight and the area even hosts a music festival dedicated to Mother Nature, so if you want to explore Mexico without too many tourist trappings, this is the place to do it.

When to Go and Weather

Huatulco's location so far south on the Mexican coast ensures that there are plenty of warm and sunny days for you to choose from when booking a vacation here. Winter is the peak tourist season with temperatures averaging between 26-30°C. Year round averages are not much different at 28°C, although you can expect most of the area's rainfall to occur between late-May and November. Despite the wet weather, there are still several hours of sunshine each day, and this is the best time to get cheap all inclusive package deals and see Huatulco lush green and in full bloom.

Shoulder seasons run from March to mid-May and from late November to mid-December, but considering that Huatulco isn't all that crowded during the year, it's possible to get cheap deals on vacation packages even during the peak season, as long as you book a month or two in advance.
