The soon-to-open Ramon Airport in Eilat makes the resort town very accessible with many European flights flying direct. Eilat can also be accessed via the Ovda airport with flights also departing from Tel Aviv. Road transportation from other major cities like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem make Eilat easily accessible. Eilat also holds the land border between Israel and Jordan as well as Israel and Egypt, which are both easy to reach via Eilat.
