Eilat Beach

There are many beaches to choose from in Eilat, found along 10 km of shoreline surrounding the Red Sea. Water in the Red Sea is clean and refreshing and given that Eilat only sees about 12 rainy days per year, the beaches in Eilat make it an ideal resort town. The Eilat Mountains create a striking backdrop, and in the distance, Jordan can also be seen with nearby Aqaba along the same shore. Beaches in Eilat are known for snorkeling, scuba diving, and many other water sports as well a prime place for rest and relaxation.

Getting There

The soon-to-open Ramon Airport in Eilat makes the resort town very accessible with many European flights flying direct. Eilat can also be accessed via the Ovda airport with flights also departing from Tel Aviv. Road transportation from other major cities like Tel Aviv and Jerusalem make Eilat easily accessible. Eilat also holds the land border between Israel and Jordan as well as Israel and Egypt, which are both easy to reach via Eilat.
