Kite Beach

This long, pristine stretch of white sand earned its name because it offers fantastic conditions for kitesurfing, as well as other sports like sea-kayaking. Fitness enthusiasts flock to Kite Beach because it provides great facilities and a scenic backdrop for various sports. Look up to see gorgeous views of the towering Burj Al Arab hotel. Plus, the showers, toilets and changing facilities are clean and abundant. Walk or jog along the coastline track and make sure to check out the great beach volleyball courts. You’ll also find some yummy local and international delicacies at the shops and food trucks right off the beach.

Getting there

This gorgeous beach is beckoning. You can find direct flights via Emirates Airline from international hubs across the US, including Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Newark, Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington. Travelers from Canada can fly direct through Toronto. Once you touch down, it’s just a quick 20-minute drive along the coast and you’re there. You can take the public transit, but it’s a little more complicated, with multiple connections. The bus should take around an hour.
