Quy Nhon Beach

Prepare to be enchanted by the picturesque landscape of Quy Nhon beach. Gaze out at the lush green hills surrounding this humble, yet mighty, golden sand beach. This is one of the few beaches that remains untarnished by the tourism industry. You won’t find many tourists here. Just locals coming out at sunrise or sunset for a stroll or a game of soccer. The breathtaking vista is absolutely striking. And the nearby temples and museums give this untouched hidden gem an even bigger draw.

Getting There

Fly into Vietnam with international airports in Ho Chi Minh City, Danang and Hanoi. While no direct flights are offered from North America, you can find many connecting flights through Taipei, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul and Tokyo. From there, you can take a local flight from Ho Chi Minh City or Hanoi to Phu Cat Airport, followed by a 35-km taxi or motorbike ride north of the port area of the city. Local and regional buses can connect you to most places in the country. Quy Nhon is halfway along the coast between Nha Trang in the south and Danang in the north, just off the main north-south highway. Qui Nhon bus station is half a mile from the beach at the south end of town. Taking the train also requires a bit of a trek as the train station is far from the city center. However, your hotel or hostel can arrange a connection for you.
