Spanish Banks Beach

The famous Spanish Banks Beaches are a series of beaches in Vancouver that are well-loved by tourists and locals alike. These beaches are backed by grassy fields, which make them popular for walks, family gatherings, picnics, soccer and volleyball games. Beyond the fields tower the dramatic mountains of the Howe Sound. These often snow-capped peaks provide a beautiful backdrop to the soft warm sands and turquoise blue waters of the beaches. These stunning beaches are slightly more remote than the other Vancouver beaches and are perfect if you want to avoid some of the crowds during the summer months.
