Maili Beach

Maili Beach in Oahu is potentially one of the most picturesque beaches in the world. White sand, turquoise water, and gorgeous mountain views create a pristine oasis that stands apart from some of the other beaches in the area. This sprawling beach park is a true gem on Oahu’s western coast, away from the more crowded beaches in Waikiki and other touristy areas. Go during the week for uncrowded open stretches of white sand, extensive grassy areas, shade trees, and even a workout area. At Maili Beach, there is something to please everyone.

Getting There

Getting to Maili Beach simple once you are on Oahu. First, you can take any number of flights from any number of destinations to to Honolulu International Airport. From the Honolulu Airport, Maili Beach is about a 40 minute drive. You can rent a car and then drive west to the coast and then turn north. Maili Beach Park is right off of Farrington Hwy, on the left, north of Kapolei and just about halfway up the coast towards Yokohama Bay/Kaena Point. Whether you are travelling from Vancouver or Toronto, Bellingham or Seattle you can easily get a flight to Honolulu.
