North Seymour Island beach

Bird watchers, this beach is for you. This Galapagos Island is one of the best fishing islands around — according to the local birds, that is. Here, you’ll be able to see a wonderfully biodiverse group of birds fishing and if you come at the right time, you may be able to catch the famous mating dance of the Blue Footed Boobies. It goes without saying that this isn’t your typical sit-back-and-relax beach, but rather a place where you can get up close to some of the most unique animals on the planet. But, the view of white sand and polished black rocks isn’t that bad of a backdrop after all.

Getting there

North Seymour Island is located just north of Baltra Island or South Seymour Island. You can get a direct flight to the Baltra Airport from Ecuador. Canadians, Australians, Asians and travellers from around the world can easily get flights to Quito or Guayaquil. We suggest you take a flight to Guayaquil, Ecuador from where you can continue to South Seymour Island and reach the beach via sea taxis.
